Part Two: Mandatory Refresher Course of 5-year Revalidation
The Marine Surveying Academy (MSA) is pleased to announce the launch of Part Two of the Mandatory Refresher Course for AVIs (Accredited Vessel Inspectors) who have been accredited for 5 years, or who are approaching 5 years.
The online course will last for approximately 3.5 hours and will include:
- Relevant and informative videos from IIMS, MSA and IMCA including the new Progressive Web App (PWA) launched by IMCA in July 2020
- What’s new in 2020?
- Ethics and Code of Conduct
- ‘Lessons Learnt’ – an interactive discussion between Course Tutor and AVIs
- Good v bad reports
- Safe working practices and COVID-19
- Online test
- Q&A session
The course will be delivered online and will be limited to a number of 10 delegates.
