Here is what a typical one-day eCMID AVI course looks like. No two courses are identical, but they all follow this framework.

09.00 – 09.30 Registration and Introductions

09.30 – 10.30
Module 1
Introduction to IMCA, eCMID AVI scheme and development, and the eCMID Helpdesk – then IIMS (International Institute of Marine Surveying) and  MSA (Marine Surveying Academy).

10.30 – 10.45 Break

10.45 – 12.30
Module 2
eCMID system – database, website and application, user accounts, auditing and uploading a report.

12.30 – 13.00 Lunch

13.00 – 14.00
Module 3
IMO updates to regulations, ISM Code, ISO 19011, performing an inspection and the AVI Code of Conduct.

14.00 – 14.30
Module 4
Review of key points and consolidation.

14.30 – 15.30 Consolidation Multiple Choice Test issued by email and completed online by delegates.
