eCMID AVI validation online course (full day)
We are pleased to announce that an online course has been confirmed for December 2026.
The full day eCMID AVI (Accredited Vessel Inspector) course will be delivered online via Zoom on Wednesday 9th December 2026. This course is for newly accredited AVIs, or for those who are interested in applying to the eCMID AVI scheme and becoming an AVI. Upon achieving AVI status, it is a requirement to validate the accreditation by attending an eCMID AVI online course within 1 year.
The cost is £475.00 and includes preparatory material, an interactive role-play session, an online multiple-choice test and a Certificate awarding 4 CPD points (providing you pass the test).
Note, you are welcome to attend a course prior to achieving AVI status and the CPD points will be awarded retrospectively upon achieving accreditation. However, please be aware that attending the course alone does not guarantee you will be accredited – this is decided by the eCMID AVI Assessor.
When you are ready to do so please book your course place here – note that courses have limited space and fill quickly.
