Online course dates confirmed

We are pleased to announce that online courses have been confirmed for April 2022.

eCMID AVI (Accredited Vessel Inspector) course

The full day eCMID AVI course will be delivered online via Zoom on Tuesday 5th April. This course is for newly accredited AVIs, or for those who are interested in applying to the eCMID AVI scheme and becoming an AVI. Upon an individual achieving AVI status, it is a requirement to validate their accreditation by attending an eCMID AVI online course within 2 years.

Five-Year Revalidation – Part One and Part Two

Those AVIs who have been accredited for a period of five years, or who are approaching five years are required to revalidate their accreditation by completing Part One and Part Two.

Part One is a review of evidence which is carried out in our offices and with one of our Assessors and Part Two is a Mandatory Refresher course which is delivered online and includes an online test. This course is approximately 3.5 hours in duration and the next one is scheduled for Thursday 7th April.
