NEW – Launch of Progressive Web App

I am very pleased to announce that the new, cross-platform eCMID Inspection App is now live.  A ‘progressive web app’, it is browser-based, works offline once a template has been downloaded, and is available on a wide range of devices using a modern web browser.  Our particular thanks go to those of you who participated in the testing phase and provided valuable feedback.

Extensive user guides, including video demonstrations, are available now at www.imcaecmid.com/guides

If using the new app for the first time, please ensure that you have successfully saved and tested availability offline on your device before travelling to undertake an inspection.

The classic inspection application for Windows remains available and supported at the present time, but will not receive new features. If you have commenced an inspection, please continue using the same app, as the file formats are not compatible.  Auditing also needs to be undertaken using the same version, but the auditor will be notified accordingly in the notification email.

This is the latest and most significant development to be funded by the upload fees introduced in 2018, building on improvements to the application and database over recent months.  In this initial release, the feature set mirrors that available in the classic Windows app, with further improvements in the pipeline.  News on further system updates will be shared shortly but please continue to submit your ideas and feedback to help guide future development.
