A schedule of online eCMID AVI courses have been planned for 2026 and will be delivered via Zoom.

The course is a full day, typically from 09.00hrs to 16.00hrs London/UK time and involves online participation by way of role-play, a multiple-choice test and more.

The course is for those AVIs who have recently gained accreditation, or non-AVIs who wish to find out more about the eCMID AVI scheme before submitting an application to the eCMID AVI scheme.

Note, AVIs have a period of up to one year/12 months after gaining AVI status to complete an online eCMID AVI course. This will validate your accreditation and is stipulated by IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) and IIMS who manage the scheme on behalf of IMCA.
