Accreditation Criteria

IMCA and MSA require that Applicants provide the necessary evidence (or suitable equivalency) to demonstrate they meet the following criteria:

• eCMID Inspector
IMCA M149 – eCMID Vessel Inspection (≥500gt):
To hold or have held a Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Equivalent Competency, issued in accordance with STCW Reg. II/2 or III/2.

IMCA M189 – eCMID Small Vessel Inspection (<500gt):
To hold or have held a Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Equivalent Competency, issued in accordance with STCW Reg. II/3 or III/3.

• Inspection/audit qualification (ISM or recognised industry equivalent)
